February 2015 Challenge Face #4
I loved the smile on this next face. I've recently decided that I don't smile enough and need to change that. One must look at the bright side of everything and surround themselves with happiness. This next face it so joyful, it put a smile on my face when I found the guide photo. I hope she makes you smile as well :)

September 2014, Face #6 and #7
I found a little free time last night, and while I watched a movie, I also got faces #6 and #7 done.
These faces are personal, I had been trying to draw them for over three years. The guide photo is of my grandparents, just before my grandfather went into heart surgery, it turned out to be the last photo of them together.
I wanted to draw it for his memorial, but couldn't bring myself to do it, his death was still too fresh.
So, almost four years later, here it is...

September 2014, Face #4
I didn't want to map out this face, I just wanted to put my pencil (charcoal) to paper and create something.
I started with her eyes and after the initial sketch I moved on to her nose and mouth. I added more detail as I went along, shading and blending. She turned out pretty cool.
Face #4....
